Donna Marie was my work wife. I couldn’t tell you how much I counted on her. People these days don’t realize that a paraprofessional it’s not just an aide, they is a coworker with Jess as much responsibility as a teacher in the classroom, if not sometimes more… someone that sees things differently than you do, and who’s in point is very important in our job as we miss so many as teachers. She was not only my grounding person the majority of my career, both in and out of work, but she was also my best friend. I miss…..
-Holes being put in my Diet Coke so that it dribbles down my shirt
-fake poop being put down the toilet after being used so many years scare people
-Pranks, we used to play on our workers all the time
-give it to God
-it’s all good
-Back in the day
-ball pit balls put in other people’s cars at the end of the day
-assistance on being the most remarkable person in the room so that I could get teacher of the year
-9 is fine, but 10 think again
-and all the pranks that we used to share with all our fellow coworkers, and you know who you are
I still don’t feel like i this has happened. I’m still in denial. I think about her every day. I miss and love you, Donna Marie, but I also feel like you’re with me every minute of every day so far. Love you, Nikki and Amanda. Love you, Cliffy.
