Rest in peace Rodney. It was great to have known you.
Thoughts and prayers are with you. He and Donnie are reunited and probably talking about their love of the water.

What a great picture of Rod!! I am so glad I had the chance to know him, however brief the time was. He was a fun, witty, interesting man and I will miss dinners with him!!
Our deepest condolences to the family.
His son Donnie and I would go hunting together when Donnie was at the University of Delaware-College of Marine Studies and also research cruises onboard the R/V's Wolverine, Skimmer and Cape Henlopen.
Best Regards, Art
Dear Valerie, Joe, and Family,
I will always remember Uncle Rodney fondly. I always wanted a house on Lewes Beach and loved to visit with Valerie at her house. We played movie stars and Val was married to Ricky Nelson and I was married to Paul Anka. I remember sleeping at your house and you always had Lewes Beach sand in your bed! Uncle Rodney took us out to dinner once when I was staying over and that was a big deal to me. Phil and Sarah never took us out to dinner.
Val, tuck in your heart all of your happy memories with your Dad and remember: "Sorrow isn't Forever, Love Is." Our Love and Prayers Always, Sally and John
Thanks for Valerie, Rod. She is a wonderful legacy to your life.
Val: You are in my prayers, my dear cousin. Glad you had the special time with your Dad at the end.
