I guess nobody knows he had a son. My boy Jeffrey living without a Dad all his life. With no support.
I just found out this news because he didn't keep in touch...
So glad he was such a great friend for the past 29 years to so many.
I was engaged to Dominic in 1990 and was so In LOVE with him I had his child in 1991. He had different plans other than being present for my sons life... yet what an impact you've made in his life.
My heart aches for all his family members and friends though.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to Dominic's family. I met him & his family in 1980 when I moved here from TN. He remained a life long friend, someone who you could talk to after years and he would smile and then chat with you for hours! He once asked me if I would drive his VW bus back from out west cause I was living in Montana at the time. Dominic would do anything to help a friend and also to help keep the beaches clean! Glad you loved that velocity blue F150!
Thanks for being part of my dads Celebration of Life in Jan 2020. My mom was so happy you were there. Will miss you my friend, God must have great plans for you.
ALOHA from Kurt and I:)
I met Dominic Ragni when I was 16 years old! Was great friends immediately with him and his late ex-wife Lana. He always had the best smile and was willing to do anything for anyone! I admired his passion for helping kids and keeping the oceans and beaches clean and safe! He will be dearly missed!! Love you Dom! Rest easy my friend! See you on the other side!! Hug my Anthony for me💚🙏

I was fortunate enough to become friends with Dom through the Delaware Surfrider Chapter. We worked on quite a few things together - the largest project being the opposition to the Rehoboth Beach sewer outfall.
One of the oddest and surreal moments I probably had with Dom was walking around the halls of Congress to fight offshore drilling. Surfrider National had set up a Capitol Hill Day. They made appointments with respective Senators, Congressmen, and their staff to discuss offshore drilling. Being the Delaware Chapter, we didn't have a whole lot of people to see - but Dom made it count! He was a bulldog in those meetings and you could tell he was visibly upset with the idea of drilling off of our coasts. Sure - he was a bit, let's say, unpolished. But anyone who knew him knew that about him. He had a big heart and it showed.
You could count on Dom. When he said he was going to show up, he would show up. I was looking back at the pictures and remembered how many great memories I have that he was a part of. Parades. Clean ups. Hearings. And yes - even the arguments over who should do what and when. He was there for the greater good - and nothing else. We could all use a little more of that in our lives.
My sincerest condolences to the family. I knew Dominic through the Surfrider Foundation and we appreciate that you are sending donations there. Dominic was there for us for years always willing to help with a cleanup or an event. I recently just reconnected with him and he came to a chapter meeting via Zoom.
Here is a photo of him when we worked to get people to vote no on the Rehoboth Beach outfall pipe.
The donations page to Surfrider is correct, but people will then need to click on the "Memorials" button on that page in the lower left. Thank you again for thinking of us.
Peace to you.
