It is with sadness that I just learned of Dave's death.. he and I butted heads a few times growing up.. but I always thought of him fondly. It's paradoxical that he passed in the same hospital that my mother and I have spent time in.. If I had known I would have been sure to pay him a visit as I am often in Salisbury. I worked with Dave for about a decade at Super Fresh. We had a few fishing trips and I always enjoyed Dave's stories of the past.
Dave and I were friends and Scottish Rite Brothers. Dave shared many wonderful stories about his family, growing up in Delaware and serving in the Military. I just saw the notice - I would have been there yesterday if I had known. He very much loved his son and missed connecting with him.
Dave was philanthropic and loved life on the Eastern Shore.
Missing a classmate from June 1966. Lewes High School created so many dear friends and remembered classmates. RIP
