David Holland Fiske's Obituary
David Holland Fiske age 80 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at his home, surrounded by family. He was born on April 14, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Edward Ransom Fiske, Jr. and Jean Bogardus Fiske.
Mr. Fiske attended William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, Wesleyan University CT and UPenn Law School. He was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the US Navy. After his service, he built a career as a Government employee with time spent in the US Senate, FEC and retiring with the FCC. Above all, Mr. Fiske cherished time spent with those he held most dear. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Fiske is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Mary Ann Fiske of Rehoboth Beach; his grateful children: Alexander H. Fiske of Washington, DC; Benjamin B. Fiske ( Katherine McElhinny) of Washington, DC; his granddaughter Quinn Fiske of Washington, DC; and his brother, Edward B. Fiske of Durham, NC.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, services will be postponed until the spring when it is safe for friends and family.
