Corey was a good friend of mine since our teens. I can only think of one thing and that is he will be missed.
We had lots of adventures together. Some adventures were just for fun and others were business adventures. I always think about Corey and his family. Beth and I both thought Corey was always a very nice guy and thought there would be more time to go visit Corey, friends and family. Corey and I both liked to talk about the old days and crazy adventures that I would talk him into. I enjoyed talking with him about what he was doing currently with his pets, hobbies and projects. I was sad that he told me he had cancer.
Most of our lives, I sort of knew that he wanted to share his life with someone. I was very happy he found someone special. He told me in text and facebook messages that it was the happiest he has ever been. Beth and I were both very happy for him and liked hearing this from him.
I will still never forget the time we tried to cut down a tree for a customer in 60 mile per hour winds. It seemed like a good idea at the time when we were both very young. We were determined to finish the job on time and under budget LOL. Well it didn't turn out so good but was certainly very very funny after it was all over and after the hurricane finally stopped.
Just one of our many adventures growing up and I will continue to remember all the fun times we had and all the projects we completed together.
I regret not being able to spend more time with him and his family. He will be missed and remembered.
