The Suydams were welcoming neighbors when we moved from Charles Town WVA to Mountville PA. I still remember Thelma’s yummy vegetable soup she brought us at least 2 times a week while we were settling in our farmhouse. Just really good people…❤️

Marlene and I just found out about your Dads passing.We are both very sad to hear this.I thought about your Dad over the years,working together at Alcoa and of course our great times fishing at the shore.We would always have good stories to tell after a weekend of fishing.We both enjoyed stopping in to see your Mom and Dad at the campground.Your parents were great friends and were so glad we knew them.

I consider it a great honor to have known Charlie and his family for many years. He was a special member of "The Greatest Generation". I am so glad that I got to visit with him and Beth back in August after not seeing them for a long time. He was so sweet and patient, listening and laughing to our stories...he seemed to have genuinely enjoyed our silliness. Beth, you are blessed to have had this much quality time with him, and you were certainly a blessing to him. I must admit, the relationship you two had was enviable.
