I got to know "Kitty” or "Mom Mom" (she allowed me to call her that) from the many Holiday meals we both attended at her son Mike and my sister Denise's home. She was often full of stories to share about growing up and raising her boys. One story I can remember was about "beans". She was so proud of her son Michael. After spending the past week with Mike, Denise and her grandsons, I must compliment her on her parenting skills. I have known Mike (my Brother in-law) over 20 years. He is one of the most faithful, honest and caring men that I know. I flew to Florida the past week to help them move between two homes and took part in a horrendous move. I was so glad that I had arrived in Florida just in time for Mike (who is sick) to leave the chaos and be by his Mother's side in her final hours. Sadly I left knowing provisions were not considered to delay the funeral arrangements due to the extensive Holiday flights and trauma of a families move. I know that the grandchildren will sorely miss their "Mom Mom". I hope I can compile some of my video clips to share. "Mom Mom" we will all miss you. With Sympathy, "The Walz Family” Dana, Jim, James, Haleigh & Daniel.
