Hi, I was just thinking about Rehoboth and the many years I spent staying at the Abbey. I decide to look up Carolyn and found her obituary. I realize it's been a year but I would like to extend my condolences to Bill and Carolyn's entire family. I always enjoyed staying at the Abbey and Carolyn and Bills company. I would get up every morning at 5am to go for a training ride and Carolyn would already be up getting things ready for the day. We would spend a few minutes talking and she always said someday I will see you on TV riding in the Tour de France. Sorry Carolyn I never made it to the Tour I retired from cycling before I could make it but thank you for the encouraging words. My fondest memories of Carolyn is when one evening there was a thunderstorm and it was difficult to see. She looked out across the corner and said look there is a poor little boy in a ylow raincoat standing all by himself. It turned out to be the fire hydrant. We laughed for hours and we would joke about it every year. Staying at the Abbey was such a fun relaxing time. I can picture Carolyn now making everyone in heaven feeling right at home. RIP Carolyn. You will always be in my memory.
