Sending our deepest sympathies to Bisha, Joy and Carol's family and friends. My husband and I knew nothing about Delaware and met Carol in October 2015 through Vickie York and she helped us find a home near Bethany Beach. We closed on the house on April 13, 2016 and 3 days later, we were in total shock when we invited her to thank her for her help and found out she was diagnosed with the serious illness. Since then, we always made a point to meet up when she felt well and in the end, the house simply served as the excuse for us to be blessed with her love and friendship. In February 2019, we hosted her in New York and had a great time at "Beautiful", the Broadway musical on Carole King. Her courage, strength and optimism in the face of ongoing treatment and discomfort are truly inspirational. We will miss her beautiful smile and warm heart and the only comfort that helps ease the pain of her loss is that she is relieved of pain and suffering. May Carol's soul rest in eternal peace.
