I have many wonderful memories of Carol from childhood memories of our families spending time together in Dewey beach through the present. Carol has always been a very sweet person and a wonderful host. She always insisted on offering food and drink even when you were only there for a short visit. She will be missed. My deepest sympathy to her family.

There was no one like Miss Carol.. she welcomed you with open arms. All of my kids loved her and called her Nanny! From the many sleepovers at Dewey with Mr. Al’s waffles and the shopping trips to “and that” .. so memories to share! She was the best host and could not feed you enough !! We will miss you but it’s just for a moment.
Some of my favorite memories growing up were when my family spent time with Al and Carol's family at Dewey Beach. More recently my husband John and I treasured spending time with Carol, Sherry, Johnny and Peggy. We shared stories from the past and even ones we had not heard before from Carol (and laughed). Carol was a wonderful, caring woman who we will miss. Carol is now at peace, rejoicing in heaven with Al. With love and deepest sympathy to the family. Love, Ginny and John
