I first met Carl in 1990 and became friends with him and Sylvia both on and off the job. He was both thoughtful and patient and was always able to think outside the box when problem solving. When Jackie and I visited them in Lewes, I remember thinking that they had planned out a nice retirement. Even though time and distance became a barrier to remaining close, I will miss him and want Sylvia to know that Jackie and I wish her the very best.

I first met Carl in the early 90's at UPS and had the pleasure of working with him from 1997 until he retired. He was patient, very knowledgeable, always taking time to help me. He was a good UPS partner. My prayers go out to his family.

I first met Carl back in the 90's when I worked at UPS in Maryland. He was the senior member at our "breakfast table" and the first to retire. He served his country and served UPS for more than thirty years. He will be missed by all who know him.
