Barbara Emily Vaughn Westog's Obituary
Barbara Emily Vaughn Westog , age 74, of Lewes, DE, formerly of Newark, DE passed away on Friday, November 26, 2010 at, Christiana Medical Center. She was born in New Rochele, NY, on Thursday, December 26, 1935 daughter of the late Floyd Clinton Vaughn and Grace Pansy Christine Reid Vaughn.
Mrs. Westog was a graduate of Vineland High School in New Jersey, class of 1954. She was a secretary for many years for the Electrical Engineering Department of the University of Delaware retiring in the late 90s. Mrs. Westog greatly enjoyed her grandchildren, baking, birdwatching and playing Mahjong with her girlfriends.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years John T. Westog, her son - Stephen Westog and wife Lynda, daughter - Holly Focht and husband Gary, grandchildren, Madeline Westog, Eric Westog, Jonathan Westog, Ashley Focht, Sean Focht and brother Floyd Vaughn.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 02, 2010, at 12:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow the Services at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE.
