Dear John, Steven & Holly--Your wonderful wife & mother worked with us (Jackie Houck & I) at Newark High School in a program called Project REAL. Barbara was a wonderful help to us and to the kids who participated. I cannot say enough good things about Barb: She was a lovely, caring, and kind person-who will be missed.
Deepest sympathies Wes, to you and your family. Fond memories of our visit and Barbara's gracious hospitality.

I remember Barbara from her days at the University of Delaware. She was always kind and helpful. I am deeply saddened to learn of your lost.

I have known Barbara for 50 years. She was my mum away from home during the seven years we lived in Philadelphia (the Big Scrapple). We will miss her dearly, and we were so fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience the generosity of the most genuinely kind, sweet, and nurturing person we have known.
