Barb has been a great friend of mine since I moved to New England and began working at Conway Elementary in 1987. We played many card games together, both in our poker group that we had for several years, and when she came to live with me and my family 5 years ago. I will miss playing cards with her (even though she usually beat me!) I will also miss her passion for politics, music, and nature photography. I will think of her every time I listen to Randy Rainbow or sit outside in the backyard, which she loved doing. Be at peace, Barb. No more pain.

I taught with Barbara many years ago in Conway NH. She was such an outstanding art teacher. Outside of school, we were good friends, and with others had many hiking adventures in the White Mountains and many fun dinners and get-togethers. I always admired her artwork, especially the loon clay whistles she would create. I remember the incredible hiking trip out to the Grand Canyon/Havasu Falls area we took years ago with other friends. Barbara's sense of humor, friendship, adventurous spirit and creativity will always be fondly remembered. Deb Karmozyn

Barbara was a fellow teacher at Conway Elementary, as well as a special friend. I spent many dinners at Satch and Barbara’s home. She was a talented artist and I have some of her clay pieces. They will help keep her memory alive. My sincere condolences to her family.
