" To Janet, and the entire Daesener Family, I am so sadden to hear of your loss of Augie, one of Freehold 's favorite sons. He was a local original with a history of doing great things for the town and community. I had the pleasure of working & knowing him , Janet, his brother Richard , and his entire family. He served the town in politics, the fire department, church , and community events. He will be missed , however, his accomplishments will live on.....My Deepest Sympathy, Carl N. Steinberg and Family "
Prayers to the family of Augie. Janet and Augie were neighbors of mine before they moved to Delaware. I also had the pleasure of working for Mr. Daesener at the American Hotel several years ago. One of the nicest people to know and work for. Samantha I am thinking of you and I know your Dad will be sorely missed, his smile was infectious and his sense of humor priceless.

Condolences from Carl Gross. Augie was a gentleman and a great neighbor of my parents
Augie was a longtime friend and classmate. He always had that beautiful smile on his face and brought joy to so many. Can still see him sitting at the piano at Hudson St. School, playing for all of us to enjoy. I send my sincere condolences to all of his family. He will always be a part of our Freehold history. God Bless, Augie..
