First State Pickleball added a few photos of Artie to the Tribute Wall. He jackhammered all the holes for the posts for the 10 pickleball courts at Clayton Elementary School. He is fondly remembered by so many Delaware pickleball players for that and so much more. Artie was a founding member of FSPC. He helped with and played in the first Beach Blast tournament. It seems fitting that over 200 players will be playing in this year's Beach Blast tournament on the same day as Art's memorial service.

Artie and Pat were neighbors of mine in Holbrook, Long Island. They were wonderful neighbors. Always willing to help in any situation. Kind hearted. Our children were good friends. Me and my family pray blessings and comfort to Carolyn, Arthur, Chris and their families. They were blessed with wonderful parents. May God give you all peace. ❤️🙏

I moved to Bethpage when I was 7 and lived 2 blocks from Arties house. I was friends with the whole family. We grew up together thru elementary school, Junior High and High School. We played football and wrestled on the same teams. Wrestled with Artie often since we were about the same weight. Artie. Played defense end and offensive right tackle. I was the left guard and a linebacker. We had some great times. He will be truly missed. Love him. Carl and Maria Bertram

I met Art a few years ago at the Clayton courts. He was always a gentleman and a great player. I loved meeting Arts grandson and wanted to photograph them coming off the courts.
He will be missed.
