Archibald "Archie" William Lingo's Obituary
Archibald William Lingo, age 78 of Lewes, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at his residence. He was born on April 1, 1943, in Lewes, DE, son of the late William H. Lingo and Eleanor W. (Lynch) Lingo.
Archie was a graduate of the old Rehoboth High School, and after college he began his career of 47 years as a Pilot for the Bay and River Delaware. Archie was also the former owner and operator of Lingo’s Market in Rehoboth Beach, where he developed many loyal customers and friendships over the years.
Archie is survived by his wife Annick Berjoan Potts; his son, Drew Lingo (Kate) of Florida; and his daughter, Jessica Lingo of Lewes; his grandchildren: Maggie, Molly, Mary, Sarah, and Amy; his very dear friends: Bobby and Anne Yarnall and Curt and Krystal Seibert of Florida and their children, Alexandra and Ariana; and his God-Children: Lori Hudson and Robin Yarnall.
All services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to VITAS Hospice Charitable Fund, 100 Commerce Drive, Suite 302, Newark, DE 19713.
