My family and I have been spending several months each year in Rehoboth Beach for over 30 years. Our “go to” place at the beach was always Lingo’s Market, and Archie was our “go to” guy. We became fast friends with Archie, and were blessed with that friendship that lasted for years. As the years passed, Archie and Annick were married and Annick became a welcomed and beloved friend as well. She was Archie’s partner in every sense of the word. They were a dynamic duo!
My wife and I are back in Rehoboth Beach again this month to celebrate our anniversary, as we’ve done every June for 30+ years. (This is our59th.) We missed the last two years because of the pandemic, but we’re back now. Archie is not here, and our hearts are heavy over his absence. We loved Archie and are grateful for every moment we spent with him. We love Annick, and we’re so thankful for the love and care she gave Archie to the very end. We’ll miss Archie forever, and we wish God’s richest blessings on you, Annick.
