I cannot tell you how sad I am to have read this in the Loudoun Times Mirror this morning. I loved working with you both and sooooo lucky to have had the opportunity to meet you. I am so sorry to hear of Andrea's death. I had the privilege of knowing and working with Andrea at Capital Hospice. She had a wonderful spirit, said it like it was and always made my day brighter when I talked with her. She was a ray of sunshine with a wry sense of humor! Peace and comfort to her loved ones! I worked with Andrea at Fairfax hospital for several years . She was always a ray of sunshine whenever she entered the unit . We talked about one day if I ever came to reboboth beach to meet up . Unfortunately I never made it before her passing. My deepest condolences to the family . She will surely be missed . 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Andrea and I were roommates in nursing school. Starting dating my fiancee after we broke up. Remained friends. Helped her pack when she left for Nam. I remember visiting her in Leesburg Va. She had put a sliding glass door in her house and then found out she wasn't allowed. Lost contact after last reunion when we went to the girl scount camp. She was a wonderful person, just like the rest of her family.

From the first time I met Andrea I was jealous that Allison had a really cool aunt. Getting together whenever I visited Allison we would get together and have lots of laughs. Andrea I hope you are pain free and resting in peace. Sending prayers and love to Rob, Allison and Colette
I was very blessed to work with Andrea for many years in the TICU. Always admiring her extensive jewelry collection. You rarely saw her wear the same piece twice. It seems like just yesterday I made her retirement cake. I know that I speak for many fellow TICU coworkers that would agree that there has never been another CM that has filled her shoes. RIP Andrea.

To know Andrea was to see the true definition of vivacious! Andrea's beauty was visible for all to see, but it was her inner beauty that shined through and grabbed your heart. Her zest for life was contagious and got all of us up on the dance floor to join her. I will miss her light.
