I moved to Delware in the fall of 1986 and rented the house next to Howard and Alice. As a new college graduate moving far from home, Howard and Alice helped make my first year in Delaware a warm and welcoming one. I have so many memories of sitting in their living room chatting with Howard and Alice and enjoying their cats! I can't tell you what a nice friendship I developed with your parents. I know there is a hole in your hearts with the loss of both Howard and Alice. They were special people and will live on in my Delaware memories!

What a special lady! Ralph and I spent many times with Alice and Howard, always with much conversation and many laughs. Howard mentored Ralph when we first moved here and they became small business buddies, both at church and in the community. Alice and Howard both loved cats as we do and many cat stories were shared. We also shared the Michigan connection as we had moved here from there. Alice - very down to earth but with a sense of humor in the enjoyment of so many things. She dearly loved her family and all who knew her can say she had a life well-lived and will be missed.
