Alfred Martin Zampieri Jr's Obituary
Alfred “Al” Martin Zampieri, Jr., 87, of Lewes, DE died on January 25, 2026 at Cadia Rehabilitation Renaissance Healthcare in Millsboro, DE. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 3, 1938, son of the late Alfred Martin Zampieri, Sr. and Margaret (Napoli) Zampieri.
Alfred was raised in New Jersey. He served as a Jet Mechanic in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Steamfitter’s Union, working as a welder, including a project at the world trade center. His true love and passion were designing doggie t-shirts and sweatshirts with his pet shirt boutique. He was a self-taught graphic designer and quite a computer genius, an avid reader, and a wonderful storyteller.
He is survived by his loving companion of 22 years, Kathleen M. Mirarchi; three children, Jimmy and Linda, both of New Jersey, and Paul of Florida; five grandchildren, Freddie, Gina, Jake, Joseph, and Kayla; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Diane, and several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by Kathleen, her son, and her grandchildren, Erica Nicole and Ava Jenna, as well as Kathleen’s seven sisters, and her nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise.
Kathleen and the entire family would like to express their appreciation for the compassionate care given to Al “Mr. Z” during his stay at Cadia Rehabilitation Renaissance Healthcare.
