My sweet sweet boy! How I miss you. Your friendship meant alot to me and I truly treasured you. I loved transcribing your books and looked forward to what you were going to write next.

I wish your last days weren't filled with unbearable pain but you left us knowing you were loved and respected by many.

To Susan Kassidy...I hope your sad days will soon end, and those feelings of sadness and loss become feelings of joy and wonderful memories. We know how much he loved you, and how fortunate you were that he picked you to spend his last days with!!

I just recently heard of your passing and my heart was so very sadden to hear that news.

I remember the first time I saw your jolly smiling face. You rushed into the Reg. of Wills office, quickly did your search and out you went.

You soon became good friends with all of us in the Wills office.

We always enjoyed your work visits. You freely gave of yourself, sharing and searching info. (questions & answers) to all.

I will always treasure your kindness, patience and good fellowship shown to me. You were truly a blessing to many.

You will be missed more than mere words can possibly express. I hold dearly in my heart and in my prayers your family and life-time companion Susan Cassidy during this difficult time.

Susan Cassidy: My deepest sympathy to you. Wishing you strength, courage and peace. Chip Gibson was definitely a good person. I met him in 1984 when he owned and operated the "Rabbit" store on Rehoboth Avenue. Chip was a friendly person with an easy smile and good sense of humor. We officiated high school varsity and j.v. basketball together (Eastern Shore #129). When we first met, he said he thought he knew me. Shortly after, it came out that when I was a Montgomery County (MD) Police Officer, I gave Chip his first speeding ticket. He enjoyed telling that story and I believe, because of that, he became a better driver! It was always a pleasure to meet him on the street or in the Courthouse where I work (Superior Court). He always had an easy-going attitude and friendly smile. He was a person that you were happy to have met. I also liked his hat.

Susan, I know your memories will comfort you. Just close your eyes and smile. Chip will be in your heart always.

To Sue Gibson - I'd like to thank you for inviting me to your home to celebrate all the love everyone has for Chip. It was a healing day and I felt his presence with us all. To Matthew - your dad spoke of you to me often and I know that he is very proud of the man that you are becoming. May you find peace with that.

To Susan Cassidy and your family. My heart goes out to you. Chip was an exceptional man loved by many people in many different ways. I wish you all peace in the coming days.
