I’m just now finding out of Als passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Al was my landlord for a year and he was the best landlord I could ask for! Not only was he always there on a second notice when I need led something he would stay and talk to with me about life and current situations that were ongoing In today’s world. Al was a great person.

Dear Emily and family, I am so sorry to hear of Al's passing. I haven't seen him since the 1980's but I know he had asked my mother how I was when he saw her. I knew him because he worked with my father at Beebe hospital and then I joined the crew in 1978 and stayed until 1982. He was always the gentleman and someone who could be looked up to as a father figure. I haven't been around and only recently got back in town and was hoping to see Him as well as a few others that worked with us at Beebe. Emily & family - Such a shock to read of Al's passing. He truly was a great friend. Many good laughs when he would come into Franklin Hdw. Bob and I enjoyed his great humor. I am sure he and Bob are in heaven enjoying talking old times.. Gloria Miller
The Fort Miles Historical Association is saddened to hear of Al's passing. Over the last couple of years Al had used his extensive photographic skills to document different events at Fort Miles. Always with a smile and kind comment, Al was a pleasure to work with. He will be missed.

We were so sorry to hear of Al’s death. Al and Emily took wonderful gorgeous photos at two of our daughters weddings. The last wedding was of our youngest Kimberly Makowski 10 years ago. It was a very hot and humid July day for an outside wedding and he was so patient with everyone. And took amazing photos. I will always cherish the memories he put in the photos of both weddings. He will be missed. Emily we are so sorry for your loss. And please know that he made a huge difference in so many brides lives. A good kind and talented man gone too soon. Hugs and a sense of peace to your soul from the Bausch, Balback and Makowski families.
Al was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Delaware 10 years ago. I was ever so lucky to have him as a friend. His position on Right to Life made him a parish leader in the defense of the unborn and elderly. His belief in his faith was worthy of emulation and his love of family, friends and Church were characteristic of all that he believed. I will miss our bantering in the sacristy, our discussions at KOC meetings and the absence of one for whom I had the highest regards. I will keep him and all his family in my prayers.
