Wilma T. Walker's Obituary
Wilma T. Walker, age 86 of Lincoln, DE, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving family.
Wilma was born in Cherokee, Kansas on July 30, 1930. Shortly thereafter, her family moved to Delaware. Wilma was a graduate of Seaford High School. She worked for A&P for 30 years in the meat department and another 20 years for Movies at Midway Theater. Wilma enjoyed going to the movies, and doing puzzles and crosswords. More than anything, however, she enjoyed being with her family. She loved family vacations and barbeques.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Thelma (Bosler) Thomas. She is survived by her three children: Patricia Bliton, Clyde T. Walker, Jr., and Alan Walker; her five grandchildren: Thomas Moore, Carla Hiller, Brian Walker, Ryan Walker, and Bradley Bliton; and her four great-grandchildren: T.J. Moore, Ethan Hiller, Lily Bliton, and Jameson Bliton.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Epworth Methodist Cemetery, Henlopen Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. All are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Ms. Walker's memory to Delaware Hospice Center: 100 Patriots Way; Milford, DE 19963.
