William Henry Wootton's Obituary
William Henry Wootton, age 88, of Lewes, DE, formerly of Catonsville, MD, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE. He was born April 23, 1923 son of the late William and Edna Anna (Schultz) Wootton.
He served in the United States Army during WWII. Bill's passion was singing and during his later years he sang with Bill Earl and The Men's Chorus, with "The Granddads" and with the Senior Center.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of sixty-seven years, Shirley Wootton; his three children: Chester Wootton, Sharon Pierce and Marcie Lynn Wootton; his ten grandchildren, his seventeen great-grandchildren and his two great great-grandchildren.
No funeral services will be held at the request of Mr. Wootton.
