William J. Wisniewski's Obituary
William J. Wisniewski, Jr., age 59, of Ocean View, DE passed away at his home on Saturday November 26, 2011. He was born in Wilmington, DE on May 3, 1952, son of William J. and Frances Mary (Krolicki) Wisniewski who reside in Wilmington, DE.
After receiving his AA degree from the University of Delaware Mr. Wisniewski worked for New Castle County for 30 years in the maintenance division. He later worked in HVAC for the State of Delaware at Stockley Center in Georgetown. He was a member and past president of the Polish Library Association of Wilmington, DE and was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bethany Beach, DE. His favorite recreations included fishing, crabbing and his beloved Eagles.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers: Dr. Michael Edward Wisniewski, PhD and his wife Gail of Cary, North Carolina and Paul Francis Wisniewski and his wife Karen of Newark, DE; two sisters: Judith Charles and her husband Gary of Wilmington, DE and Mary Wisniewski of Newark, DE; three nephews; one niece; many cousins; and his companion Lisa Carangio and her children.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach with burial immediately following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Dagsboro, DE. There will be no visiting hours.
In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to St. Ann’s Catholic Church at the above noted address or to St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 408 S. Harrison Street, New Castle, DE 19805.
