Bill was a great friend of mine. Over the many years I knew him. Bill loved his music and was the one who got me into Bluegrass Cajun and Zydeco music Festivals. I attended many Festivals with Bill. Me and Bill also went to many Rock Jazz and Blues concerts together in Boston. Also went on many White Mt. camping and fishing trips together.
Bill's basement at his house in Salem NH became a place for Bill and his many musician friends for band practice place and jam space.
His Bithday/Halloween parties and jams were epic events playing jamming and party late into the night.with his many musician friends throughout The Merrimack valley and southern NH
I hope Bill is up in heaven playing guitar or banjo with some of his favotite guitar heroes who have passed away before him Especially one of Bill's all-time favorites bluegrass guitar legend flat picker Tony Rice.
My condolences to Bill's sister's and family. May memories of Bill bring a smile to your face. I had many great memories with Bill that make me laugh and smile.
