William Oliver Vivian Jr's Obituary
William “Bill” Oliver Vivian, Jr., 86, of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, formerly of Media, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Born in Philadelphia on September 6, 1939, he was the son of the late Dr. William Oliver Vivian, Sr. and Helen Jewett. Bill retired from the banking industry in 2010 after more than 50 years of dedicated service.
Bill was an active member of the Rotary Club of Media and served on the Civil Service Commission of Media. He was deeply involved with the Media Boys Club and spent many years coaching in the Media Little League. He also served on the Board of the Fieldwood Homeowners Association.
Bill treasured time spent at his home in the Poconos and at the Delaware beaches, where he enjoyed relaxing with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elizabeth Ann “BettyAnn” (Worrall) Vivian; his children Pamela (Joseph) Dorsch, William (Veronica) Vivian, and Penny Meade; and his grandchildren Cody, Billy, Jacqueline, Tyler, Trevor, Emma, Joseph, Logan, Brycen, and Peyton and 3 great grandchildren, Madison, Henry and Blake. He was predeceased by his son Thomas R. Duncan.
