Have fond memories of Will Stilwell. He ran Senator Durenberger's mail room while I interned there. Four years later, I looked him up again. He had moved on to work for Senator Kennedy. Will showed me Kennedy's private office. He took photos of me there sitting at Kennedy's desk & standing beside JFK's framed dog tags. A few weeks later he gave me copies of the photos. He always filled me in on latest Capitol Hill gossip.
I still have the photos. Was thinking of Will and decided to see if I could find him on the internet. Instead, I found this page with his obituary. How very saddened I am to learn of his illness and death just a few months ago. He was always so very good to me as a college student and graduate student, as a young intern on Capitol Hill.
Will Stilwell was a great guy. He will always have a place in my heart.
