William V. Stewart III's Obituary
William Victor “Bill-Bill" Stewart III, age 52 of Greenwood, DE passed away surrounded by his wife and children on Saturday, June 4, 2022. He was born on November 22, 1969, in Seaford, DE, son of the late William V. Jr. and Vicki (Priestley) Stewart.
Mr. Stewart graduated from Woodbridge High School, class of 1987. He built a lifelong career in construction, co-owning and operating the A & W Construction company.
Mr. Stewart had many and varied interests and hobbies. He was a skilled cook and enjoyed grilling and roasting the Thanksgiving turkey. Stewart was a softball coach and loved going to dirt track races. He adored his labs. Above all, Mr. Stewart loved spending time with family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and friend. Loved by many, he will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Stewart was predeceased by his grandparents, William C. and Hazel L. Priestley; his grandfather, William V. Stewart; and his cousin, Kyle M. Bitler. He is survived by his beloved wife, Amy Renee Stewart; his daughters, Ashley, and Jessica Stewart; his stepdaughter, Amanda Moore; his stepson, Jon Bondie (Hailey); his grandsons, Bernie, and Milo; his aunts, Brenda Tunis and Pam Bitler (Bob); and his cousins: Dawn LeCates, Nikki, Tyler and Adam Bitler.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Bridgeville Cemetery, Market & Laws Streets, Bridgeville, DE.
