Rejoice in Paradise Bill🙏
We have been friends since 1975. Bill, Theresa, Sue and I were all newly-weds. Spoon & T-Spoon moved to Beachfield. Sue and I built our house 3 doors away. God blessed them with Paul, us Phillip, them Stephen and us Grant, in that order. Bill and I worked at The Seahorse. Theresa and Sue were employed in Lewes at the hospital and Cape Henlopen High School, respectively. We were living the dream.
Life happened, we moved away, the Spoons became very busy restaurateurs. We saw each other once or twice a year. But we always picked up right where we left off. We lost Grant, they lost Stephen. We shared our grief. We continued to put one foot in front of another. We moved back to Rehoboth. We went cruising together. Then Bill got sick. He fought like hell to get better. He was winning. He was a winner! Then last week the unbelievable, unexpected happened. He left us and God called him Home.
We are all sad for our personal loss of such a good man and friend. We’re doing our best to remember to celebrate that Bill is where we all hope to be one day.
See you when we get there Bill! We wiil expect to see you at the Perly Gates to welcome us Home and show us the ropes just like you did for me(Randy) at The Seahorse 55 years ago.
We love you brother. We will miss you - no doubt!
We’ll be here for Theresa any way she may need.
That is what FRIENDS do!
Randy and Sue Huber
