RIP Bill.
I was saddened to learn of Mr. Parler’s death. He was the General Counsel of the NRC when I began there as a young attorney. He was a gentleman, fine attorney and thoughtful colleague and took an personal interest in those in the Office of the General Counsel. I have thought and spoken of Mr. Parler so many times over the years, always with respect and admiration. I extend my deep condolences to Mrs. Parler and his family in your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill Parler's passing away. I remember him from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. I just came on board to the NRC and I was working in OGC. I remember him as being a fair and honest man and an outstanding attorney. He always had time to speak to you and to say hello to everyone. He treated everyone in the NRC agency with dignity and respect. I was so very sorry when he left the NRC we really lost a good man. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Anne and Family,
I just wanted to send you my deepest sympathy to you and your Family at this most difficult time. I tried to reach Mary Jo Lytle to tell her and had no luck. So I sent her the Obituary that was in the Coastal Point.
I don't know if you heard but we lost Chotsie Martin on March 16, 2022 which was her 85th Birthday.
Also, the last time I spoke with Mary Jo she was recuperating from a fall off her deck.
Fondly,
Mrs. Maxine Frazier
I was fortunate to have worked for and with Mr. Parler at the NRC. He was an expert on legal matters and always demonstrated integrity. He was kind to me as I was just starting my career. A true gentleman who was respected by all. My condolences to his family.
It was with the greatest sadness I learned of Bill's passing today. My deepest condolences to Anne and to all of Bill's family. I was privileged to work with Bill for most of my career at the NRC. He was an exemplary attorney and civil servant, always acting with the highest integrity and commitment to serve his country. At the NRC, he was a mentor, a counselor, always a gentleman, and a friend. It was an honor to know and work with him and those of us who did were and are all the better for it.
