William "Bill" Munnis' Obituary
William E. Munnis, age 74, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. He was born June 26, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late William E. and Martha (Haggerty) Munnis.
Mr. Munnis was a drummer in the Ulster Scottish Pipe Band and the Washington Memorial Pipe Band. He was a past member of the British Legion and an avid fisherman. He served honorably with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sally Anne (McFall) Munnis; two daughters, Elaine Junod and husband Dr. John of Doylestown, PA and Diane Bresser and husband Robin of Hatfield, PA; three sons, Andrew Redmond and wife Jodi of Philadelphia, PA, Philip Redmond and wife Beverly of Rehoboth Beach, and Timothy Redmond and wife Kimberly of Enterprise, AL; six grandchildren; a sister, Betty Gould and a brother, Jack Munnis, both of Florida.
A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 1151 Walker Road, Suite 202, Dover, DE 19901 or to Disabled American Vets, 183 South Street, Camden-Wyoming, DE 19934.
