Mr. McMahon will be dearly missed. My earliest memories of Mr. McMahon and his beautiful family are from the McMahon Olympics! Mr. McMahon was such a generous, happy, fun loving host and just wanted everyone to have a great time. I looked forward to spending time with everyone whenever I could. His dedication to his friends and family was so obvious, a true characteristic of Mr. McMahon. That devotion extended all the way to me personally when he helped me to renovated my first house. We spent so much time together during that time... lots of laughing, and certainly learning on my part. Multiple trips to Home Depot under his tutelage and dinners in front of an old Matlock or, his favorite, Moonlighting. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Mr. McMahon and his generosity of not only time, but also heart and spirit. My family and I would like to extend our most sincere condolences to the beautiful Mrs. McMahon and her wonderful children, Billy, Trent and sweet Brandy. And of course to all the adorable grandchildren, who will certainly serve to preserve his memory just by looking at them. May you all find peace during this difficult time. Cheryl/Billy/Trent/Brandy - I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. I now live in Naples, FL for the last 20 years so have certainly been out of touch but Little John Hughes notified me of Bill's passing. I always regarded Bill and all of his family as spectacular examples of human kindness and dignity. Volleyball at Deauville and then on the court at your home was a constructive life-building event. I will also remember the one summer that Bill took me on as part of his construction crew and how that only lasted a week or two after I clearly established I was over my head in staining inside woodwork. :-)

I played a lot of volleyball with Bill and really enjoyed those tournaments at the McMahon home court. I also worked for Bill one summer and had a great time doing so. Bill's laugh was contagious. He always made me smile. It was a pleasure to have known Bill. He was a character in the best sense of that word. My condolences to Cheryl and the kids. Bill will be missed.
When I was on college break, Bill gave me my first construction job. He was so cool to work for, not like a boss, but like a friend. He remained a friend for years as we connected through volleyball. His two handed bullet shot to the corner never failed to startle everyone and win the point. These memories and many more will be with me forever. Barb and I both send our sympathies out to his family during this sad time.
