Some of the happiest days of my life were spent on Arizona Avenue in Long Beach, NY with Billy, Guy, Carol, and my sister, Candy. We and the Lometti family lived in adjacent houses, and I remember well how we first met. We threw stones at one another, chucking them from our porches back and forth. After that, we were solid friends sharing fun at the beach, riding bikes in the street, going to the theater on a rainy day, talking and rocking on the porch, trading charms, eating jelly donuts and crullers from the bakery, walking to church in our Sunday best -- endless summer after summer! A kind and fun little boy who grew to be a fine man has been lost to the world. My condolences. My sweet memories of Billy will never fade and will always bring me joy. Ellen Anderson
Bill was my supervisor from 1995-2001. I remember when he was coming into CID. People said the “ice man” was coming. For me, I didn’t see an iceman. He respected me and allowed me to do my work with his full trust. Rest In Peace Bill. You are dancing with the angels now. Hallelujah!!!!
Dear Sue & Family~ My mom just told us of Bill's passing. We're so sorry to hear this. We didn't know Bill super well, but one memory I have of him is playing poker at my parents' home on Kenner Court. Bill had a good poker face, and he always seemed to look right through me, a talent he'd honed as a Secret Service agent, (or so I was told!). I hope you're all doing ok. I understand what it's like to lose a dad. You all are in our thoughts and prayers .

It's so hard to imagine that we won't be seeing Bill walk Peter anymore. He will be missed. Back in our early days in Bay Pointe, Bill and I worked together for years on many Bay Pointe committees and then on the first HOA board of directors. He was my strongest supporter and always a great friend. Sue, Bill & I are here for you in these tough times and always. Don't forget that. We love you!
RIP my altar boy partner!! Great memories!! My condolences to Sue and family!!

I met Bill and Susan through friends and I couldn’t have enjoyed their company more. Always lots of laughter when around Bill and Susan. Bill had a knack of telling wonderful funny stories. You are very much missed. Ann Hogan
