Walter, Nancy, and the rest of your family, I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's death. While I didn't know him, I think he must have been a good man because you two were great kids. You have my condolences.
My favorite memory of Mr. Hopkins was the time I ran out of gas near your farm. He got some gas and I enjoyed talking with him. He told me a quick story. His wife and he checked into a large hotel in southern California. The clerk recognized Mr. Hopkins because he was from southern Delaware. Mr. Hopkins said look at the trouble he would have been in if he wasn't with his wife. He laughed that great laugh and be warned you never know who may be watching.
Mr. Hopkins is a huge loss.
My condolences.
Mahlon
