William "Bill" Henry Chambers' Obituary
William Henry Chambers, III, age 68 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015, at the Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford, DE. He was born Tuesday, December 10, 1946 in Wilmington, DE, son of the late William H. and Ethel (Sheets) Chambers, Jr.
Mr. Chambers was a graduate of the University of Delaware. Shortly after graduation he proudly served his country with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed a lengthy career as a landscaper and had a keen eye for beauty. Mr. Chambers also enjoyed traveling to various parts of the country and occasionally throwing a rod when the fish were biting.
He is survived by his sister Linda Winner and her husband Greg of Garnet Valley, PA; 2 nephews, Gregory P. Winner, Jr. of Wanonah, NJ; Jeffrey M. Winner of Tacoma, WA and longtime friend, Theresa Hayes of Rehoboth Beach, DE.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, October 02, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.
