William Manchester Graham's Obituary
William Manchester Graham, 82, of Millville, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Mr. Graham was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Robert H. and Pearl (Spence) Graham. After high school he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Graham was a member of the Tin Can Sailor group and fondly participated in reunions with his crew mates from the USS Stribling.
Mr. Graham retired from the Chrysler Corporation in Newark, DE, where he had a long and dedicated career. He was an active member of Millville Methodist Church and American Legion Post 24. Outside of his work and community involvement, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, and boating, but above all, he cherished time spent with his family.
Mr. Graham is survived by his loving wife, Sharon L. Graham; sons William A. Graham (Shelley) and John T. Graham (Michele); and his grandchildren: William P. Graham, Riley F. Graham, Nicholas C. Graham, Emily Consiglio, Maria Consiglio, Kaylin R. Graham, and Kathryn G. Graham.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Millville United Methodist Church, 36405 Club House Rd., Rt. 26, Millville, DE 19967. There will be a visitation before the service from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Millville United Methodist Church or the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company, 215 Hollywood St., P.O. Box 950, Bethany Beach, DE 19930.
