William Fiori's Obituary
William "Bill" Fiori, age 91, of Seaford, DE passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Country Rest Home in Greenwood, DE. He was born in Vauxhall, NJ on August 10, 1924, son of the late John B. and Mary (Mireider) Fiori.
Mr. Fiori proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married the love of his life, Mary Virginia, in 1950 in Elkton, MD. Mr. Fiori enjoyed a lifelong career at DuPont, from which he retired as a Power Service Operator.
As an avid antique collector, Mr. Fiori had acquired a variety of clocks. He enjoyed spending time repairing the clocks and proudly showed his handiwork to his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Fiori was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia (Ewell) Fiori in 1979 and a brother, Arthur Fiori. He is survived by his daughter, Debora Fiori Parker and her husband Gerald of Seaford, DE; a son, Michael Fiori and his wife Tracy of Seaford, DE; a step son, Kenneth Ewell of Delmar, MD; two granddaughters: V. Ashley Bowland of Delmar, MD and Cody Bowland of Seaford, DE; two grandsons: Jonathon Fiori of Orrick, MO and Daniel Fiori of Seaford, DE; five great-grandchildren: Rodney Wyatt, Jr., Natallia Patton, Naudia Patton all of Delmar, MD, Julian Bowland and Cylas Bowland both of Seaford, DE; a brother, Edward Fiori and his wife Virginia of Seaford, DE and a sister, Geraldine Cannon of Greenwood, DE; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015, at 2:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE 19933, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at Bridgeville Cemetery, Market & Laws Streets, Bridgeville, DE.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Fiori's memory to the Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
