William James Deitman's Obituary
William (Bill) Deitman, passed away on December 10, 2018 at the age of 78. Born in Shamokin, PA, he is the son of the late William H. and Hannah (Cavanaugh) Deitman.
Mr. Deitman was proud to serve in the United States Army and Reserves, and upon retiring from H.B. Reese Candy Company, after serving 36 years, became a long time resident of West Bay Park in Lewes, DE. He was at his happiest spending time on the water fishing and helping with maintenance in his community.
Mr. Deitman is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Meredith (Brandt); his daughters: Kathy Brandt of Madison, GA, Lorrie Coppenhaver of Camp Hill, PA, Stacey Deitman of Hummelstown, PA, Kristi Bender of Palmyra, PA, and Pamela Zearfoss of Jonestown, PA; his sons: Darrell Wagner of Myerstown, PA, and William Deitman II of New Cumberland, PA; his dear sister, Margaret; his 12 grandchildren; and his 18 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 15, 2018 at 1:30 PM in the West Bay Park Community Center.
Funeral Services will be held on December 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
