William Danver's Obituary
William A. Danver, age 76, of Lewes, DE died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at his residence in Lewes.
Mr. Danver was born in Allegheny County, PA, son of the late Richard Danver, Jr. and Sara Ann (Alward) Danver. He was formerly from the Silver Springs, MD area, moving to Sussex County, DE after his retirement 11 years ago. He was a self-employed builder of fine homes for 30 years. He had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Since his retirement, Mr. Danver avidly enjoyed crossword puzzles and bird watching. He was a very loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
Mr. Danver is survived by his wife of fifty years Nancy J. (Hawvermale) Danver;
Four Sons, Douglas A. Danver & wife Cathy of St. Louis, MO; Bruce A. Danver & wife Patricia of Alexandria, VA; Kieth E. Danver & wife Patricia of Milton, DE; and Gregory E. Danver & wife Elizabeth of Point of Rocks, MD; Karen Engle, (who was like a daughter to Mr. Danver) and her husband Ron of Rockville, MD; and 6 grandchildren: Andrew, Ashley, Sara, Kelly, Bridget and Morgan Danver. In addition to his parents, Mr. Danver was predeceased by a brother, Richard Wright Danver and a sister Barbara Ann Weimer.
Services will be private. Memorial donations are suggested to a favorite charity.
