I was saddened and shocked to hear that Bill had passed and am glad I finally found this wonderful recounting of so many of his accomplishments, although his personal stories of some of his encounters and activities were much more entertaining. He was a smart, funny, and understanding man and I am so very glad I had the chance to work with him and become friends with him. I am sorry I just found this notification of his services otherwise I would have attended. I ask for God's blessings for Marlys and the children and for Bill, a remarkable man. I loved every minute of my time spent with Bill at Harbor Healthcare. We became good friends in our short period of time and for that I am grateful. He is the reason my family and I vacationed in Barcelona this summer and not Madrid. I trusted his recommendation and he was right...it was fantastic. I looked forward to returning from vacation and sharing my trip details with him. Unfortunately, Bill passed while I was away and I never got to say goodbye. He was a unique and stubborn guy all the way to the end! Condolences to his wife and family.
