Dear Uncle Billy --
You were the best! I will always remember you fondly -- your wit, generosity, and love for your family. What a long wonderful life you had -- may you and John, and Mimi & Pop-pop, have a grand reunion and claim your own few acres in heaven as a new White Oak. Rest in peace, dear Uncle.
-- Carrie Ruda Clark, Chevy Chase, Md.
Bill Clark was my landlord at 33Baltimore Avenue for 30 years. He loved walking to town and talking to people he met. He had a great pride in Rehoboth. His kindness and interest in others were always something I noted. My condolences especially to Elizabeth as I know She has guided him so sweetly through these last parts of his life.
Bill Clark was a great friend and his passing brings up many memories of summers in Rehoboth during the 1960s and '70s. Endless volley ball, Sunday dinners on the beach with Wheat Thins and Sweet Caoline at 75 Tidewaters. And then there were the Aspen winters skiing Ajax and Snowmass. The Pitkin County Bank and Trust Company was his creation.
Helen snd Jack Lynch, 14 Park Ave. Rehoboth.
