Wendell R. Fisher's Obituary
Wendell R. Fisher, age 81 of Milton, DE passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Delaware Hospice Center of Milford. Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 12, 1929, he was the son of the late Roland and Louise (Stidham) Fisher.
A resident of Milton for the past 14 years, he was from Hatboro, PA where he retired as the Office Manager of Customer Service for ITT Nesbitt.
He enjoyed camping, boating and collecting lighthouses. He was a wonderful neighbor and very involved in his neighborhood. He was always ready to assist anyone, even without being asked. He had a wonderful sense of humor, even during his last days and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
Wendell is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth "Betty" J. (Crawford) of Milton, one son, Kenneth W. Fisher and wife Nancy of Hatboro, PA, one daughter, Deborah A. Walsh of Hatboro, PA, one sister, Rolene Rose of Hatboro, PA, five grandchildren, Heather, Cailin, Shannon, Candace and Jason and four great grandchildren, Nolin, Veronica, Quinlin and Lily.
A Memorial Service will be scheduled for after the first of the year at the Parsell Funeral Home and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE,
