Another awesome Lewes Beach resident and former neighbor. I remember both Jim and Kathy fondly. They both were always so kind to me and my family and also a friend. Sending hugs and prayers to the family. May in RIP
My favorite memories of Pop were always the simple ones—sitting around the dinner table or at the Bell Bar with a glass of wine, just talking. We’d chat about Lewes and how much it’s grown, swap stories about his golf games and travels, and he always genuinely loved hearing about what Eric was working on. He had this way of making everything feel fun and easy. He taught Eric and me that “fun is no good unless you’re having it,” and he really lived that—making sure the people around him were part of the joy, too.
