first had the pleasure of meeting Tom 20 years ago when he was working for the Town Of Dewey Beach . The town of Dewey Beach is a much better place because of men like Tom Rutherford . Tom was a one-man maintenance department he handled everything himself from repairs and community service not to mention driving his truck on to the beach each morning to give out dog treats . A truly giving man who gave all to those who knew him
