Joan Spece Yannessa
To Vito's family and friends. I have sung, for many years, the praises of Vito. We met forty four years ago when he approached me, at the request of his district manager, to leave my pharmaceutical sales position with Wyeth, to join Abbott Labs. Of course, Vito, the consummate salesman, made the sales ( there was likely a bonus involved). I'll always be grateful to him for mentoring and encouraging me to be resilient in a male dominated environment-- he was way ahead of the times in accepting women in this profession
Over the years I grew to know, including his parents, his special family -- the love, respect and closeness of the Zeccola.
What I loved best about Vito was his generosity and his non judge-mental nature-- he was accepting of everyone and would see the very best in people he met and knew.
I'll miss what we shared, love of opera, traveling, the game of bridge, and humor. So many memories to cherish-- thank you for your friendship we shared. So happy he is free from pain and in the beautiful place we discussed very often. I'll see you later, dear friend.
To family and friends I send my deepest condolences and love, Joni
