Virginia Mae Palmer's Obituary
Virginia Mae (Crevison) Palmer, (Ginnie), 85 years old, passed away November 10, 2022, at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. Born on February 1,1937, in West Mansfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Raymond D. Crevison and Virginia B. (Flax) Crevison.
She was a graduate of Rehoboth High School Class of 1955 where she was very active in sports including field hockey, softball, and basketball. Virginia and her husband, Richard, were married in the Epworth Methodist Church in Rehoboth on December 22, 1954, by the Reverend Link.
She was formerly employed by the Diamond State Telephone Co., Bell of Pennsylvania and finally Bell Atlantic Telephone Co. for a total of over 23 yrs.
Virginia enjoyed flowers and flower arrangement and was never happier than when she was decorating the home for Holidays.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard L Palmer Sr.; and two sons: Richard L. Palmer Jr. and his wife Trish of Downingtown, PA, and David A. Palmer and his wife Teri of Mechanicsburg, PA; and her brother, Dwight Crevison of Horntown, VA. She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Ryan Palmer and his wife Laura of Dillsburg, PA, Alexander Palmer and his wife Brooke of Coatesville, PA, Lauren (Palmer) Dufford and her husband Chris of Orlando, FL, and Danica Palmer of Downingtown, PA; and four great grandchildren: Davin and River Palmer of Dillsburg, PA, and Lleyton and Adalynd Palmer of Coatesville, PA.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, where friends may visit beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
