Virginia D. Miles' Obituary
Virginia D. Miles, age 94, of Millsboro, DE, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at her late residence. She was born in Greensboro, NC, on January 4, 1917 daughter of the late Victor Peter Boone and Meta Whittington Boone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willliam B. Miles Sr. in 1988 and her son William B. Miles, Jr.
She was a member of the Stevens U.M. Church in Berlin, MD and the National Association of Hairdressers.
Mrs. Miles is survived by her daughter M. Geraldine McCauley of Millsboro, DE; her daughter-in-law, Sonya L. Miles of Rehoboth Beach, DE; a brother P. V. Boone and sister Mary Fore both of North Carolina; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral Services with Rev. William Hopkins officiating will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at 2:00 PM, at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow the services at Henlopen Memorial Park, 28787 Lockerman Road, Milton, DE.
